I like (sometimes) doing things the old-fashioned way, especially in the kitchen, and I'm always looking for other ways to make coffee. This mocha pot is linked to the history of European coffee in the 20th century. I've made coffee in it several times. So far I've changed parameters like grind size, stovetop temperature (low or high) every time and I'm still trying to optimize my performance, but I've made a pretty good morning latte, for example. It's a fun, handmade way to make coffee if you enjoy experimenting, learning, and enjoying your connection to tradition. Please read a blog or watch a video or two on how to use them before getting started. There are helpful examples on YouTube. You have to be careful because this thing gets hot, you have to use a towel to hold onto it after the coffee is brewed. Cleaning is easy if you rinse quickly afterwards to keep the coffee from drying out and sticking. I look forward to practicing and mastering the old ways with this moka pot.
