I used to wear Docs and was thrilled there was a kid's version available for my daughter than her comes to school. Not only has she received many compliments, but these little Mary Janes are actually perfect for all her activities, including sports. The sole is soft and the upper is very durable, almost does not scratch. Don't be fooled by the sheen of patent leather - it is extremely durable and will likely grow out long before it wears out. Great item for families with multiple children.
