Review on Flicker Free ASUS PA248Q Professional 1920X1200 Monitor 24.1 by Sam Hollo
The dot pitch is not as good as the newer monitors.
I have had this monitor (24" model) for several years and it was my first time going from 14" CRTs to a flat panel. Unfortunately, the original ASUS monitor was stolen and I ended up buying another to replace it. The monitor was MUCH sharper than this even though it was only 1920x1080 and ASUS has 1920x1200. I think the "dot spacing" on these monitors sucks as I can ALWAYS see the pixels all the time. and i bought it again. Not a bad 16:10 monitor, but it should be better! (heavy sigh)
- Works great with Lightroom and Photoshop CC. Great price for a great ProArt paint.
- Poor color accuracy and brightness compared to other monitors.
