I loved it! I would recommend it to anyone trying to get their kids to sleep. I am expecting and I am due next month. I bought this for my kid as well as the regular star tortoise. If you buy both together and use them at the same time, they will look very nice on the ceiling. Stars and Ocean! I'm going to try it myself when I go to bed as I don't sleep well myself. I felt much calmer when I heard a little tune to play with her. UPDATE: 12/22/2016 My baby is almost 4 years old. It still works the same as it did when I first bought it 3 years ago. She loves it and swears she falls asleep even in a new environment she has never slept in before. The only problem is that it's too good that she gets very upset when the batteries run out. It's really annoying because she wakes up in the middle of the night sobbing uncontrollably and begging for the batteries to be replaced. Thank goodness we use 3x AA batteries so we usually have a spare set just in case. My husband had enough last night because now she started complaining that this wavy thing wasn't moving anymore (she didn't press the "move" button) and she was crying so hard about it at 3am. Again, it's too good that she has a problem with this thing and he wants to kick her out so she can stop being addicted to it. I really wish they had a plug-in version of this and it would solve all of our sleeping problems as parents.
