This is one of the few dog cages that does the job and looks great. We have an English bulldog who is rarely abused except when we have visitors. Our Bodie sleeps in it at night and seems to enjoy going in on his own when he needs some space. Our dog does not "chew" or "scratch" but this cage has held up well for over three years. we owned it. It's well built and easy to assemble. Our only issue would be that we would have bought the large size instead of the x-large. The box is quite large (about 32 inches) so we took it to my office rather than the living area. The large size of this product is perfect for a medium sized English bulldog (our Bodi is 4 years old, around 50 pounds). , and 21 inches tall). Unlike the other reviewers we never had an issue with the latches and compared to your average drawer they are well made, the pins appear to be 3/8" rolled steel with an above average spring strength. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stylish and well designed dog guard.
