I was hesitant to buy this camera after reading some previous reviews but so far I'm happy with it! I wanted a basic waterproof camera, at least 10MP, some settings (circumstances, zoom, macro, etc.) for less than 100 euros. I've used disposable waterproof cameras in the past, but they're expensive and the image quality is poor. I wanted something better that would hold up during a trip to the Caribbean. PROS: It's pink. It's easy to use. It takes good pictures underwater and respectably on land. My guess is that those who say normal photos are awful don't have the right camera settings. There are a lot of cute photo editing options that I don't need, but imagine kids would like it or have fun playing with it when you're stuck at the airport. CONS: The strap attachment is in the upper left corner. device, and the start button is in the top right corner. I have to keep moving the strap towards the back of the camera so it doesn't cover the lens window. If the AA batteries need to be replaced, all camera settings will be restored to factory defaults. I haven't had the rapid battery drain issues that others have listed and have been using the same pair for over a month. There is NO SD card included. CONCLUSION: The photos are not as good as my normal camera (Canon), but much better than the waterproof disposable camera. Stability and zoom are not that good. For my purposes (beach/snorkeling) this camera is great. Until I take that diving class... IMPORTANT TIP: This camera doesn't have a viewfinder. The screen is difficult to see in the sun. If you are in and out of the water, make sure there is no water on the lens window before you start recording.
