The cap is ideal for long hair, curls, strands and braids. The only thing that confuses me is that the inside of the hat is not as soft as satin as the outside. It makes no sense. If your hat is satin on only one side, your hair should be the same. That's why I wear my hat inside out. It doesn't matter that the design isn't visible because I don't wear it outside, so what's the difference. It's just annoying that whoever designed/made this didn't think about the importance of a soft, non-slip material to make contact with your hair. If there weren't a shortcoming, 5 stars would be possible. I find this hat comfortable for a large head as my head circumference (when I have pigtails) is about 22.5 inches. forehead (I don't need tension or pressure there). They are relatively easy to put on and take off and stay on all night. I hand wash them. It's great that they come in packs of 2 so I can wear one while I wash the other.
