I love this hub. Great price, looks good and looks good. It doesn't have the cheap feel I've had when working with other similar devices, and I love that it supports PD fast charging, has 5 USB ports, and also routes HDMI through the same hub. It gets a little warm when multiple devices are running over it, but that's not a problem. The hub does seem to require some power to operate, as I've found that this charges the iPad a bit slower than direct USB-C, but that seems to be the case with any hub like this. The 20W PD charger that came with my iPad Pro does a good job of powering the iPad, external hard drives, and even an external sound card through a hub. The only thing that could be better is the USB cable coming from the hub. connecting to your device may take longer. I had to purchase a separate USB-C extension cable so the hub could be conveniently placed on a table and plugged into the iPad's USB port without straining the cable. Some people have commented that external hard drives won't work if you connect this hub incorrectly, but when that happened to me once, all I had to do was rotate the USB-C connector (rotate it 180 degrees) and it was fine. Nothing to get excited about and I've seen this comment on other hubs as well.
