These are fantastic socks! But, they shrink in the wash. Buy a larger size if you can.I ordered these because they sure do look a lot like a well-known name brand style of hiking sock that I have grown to love, and I was curious if they would be as good as those. They arrived and sure enough, they are nearly indistinguishable from those quite expensive socks that I love, right down to the looped terry lining inside. They are soft, comfy, stretchy and warm.I wear a women's size 7.5 shoe and ordered the medium, and they fit perfectly. But then they shrunk in the wash, they now feel tight all over, especially the forefoot and ankle. Wish I'd ordered the large size.I feel like these are a good value, since you do get three pairs and they are such good quality. They are nice and thick and cushiony for hiking, walking or just wearing around the house on chilly days. These are thick socks, so keep the fit of your shoes in mind, since they will take up more space inside your shoes than regular thinner socks.
