I use it to switch between my computer monitor and my Roku Streaming Stick. For those wondering, it will automatically switch to your typing without pressing any button on the device if the device you're switching to is off and you turn it on. If your device stays on all the time, you need to switch to the device using the button on the switch. I've tested this with a Blu-ray player for example and it works great because if you're like me I turn off my Blu-ray player when not in use. In short, sometimes you have to push a button on a switch. Overall, this switch works great for me.
