Automatic input switching

This HDMI switch allows me to connect multiple game consoles to the TV in my playroom. The switch works great with the RetroUSB AVS and the Xbox One S. Was surprised that it automatically switched inputs when I turned off the system and turned on another gaming system. I didn't notice any increase in lag/input lag. The image quality has not changed either. Very happy with this purchase.

Cheap and works when you don't need a 4k signal

Works great. Auto-detection is mandatory until one of the connected devices beeps continuously. Run through my SNES, NES and Genesis Minis and it works great. I tried this with PS4 Pro and it doesn't pass a 4k60 signal as it only supports up to HDMI 1.4. It wasn't advertised as 4k capable so I'm not disappointed by that, I was just curious and thought others might be too. If all you need is 1080p, this thing works great.

If only he could keep working.

Works great but sometimes doesn't. This should toggle between on and off device on its own. Most of the time he does it quite well. But twice (in a month of use) it just stops working until you manually press the button on it. I hid this thing in the back where it's not very easy to reach, so it's a bit annoying. The rest of the picture is perfect. I switched it between a Nintendo SNES Classic and a Nintendo Switch, so I just named the port on the TV "Nintendo" to make it easier.

They're perfect if you don't have enough HDMI ports

Bought 2 of these and they're perfect! Use them to connect multiple gaming consoles to a TV. An added bonus that I didn't realize until I got them is that they switch automatically if only the activated device is the device you want to view. I can connect 3 devices and don't have to get up and manually activate the switch when I want to play on a different console. picture quality is ok, sound quality is ok; I can't tell the difference between running through the switch or straight to the TV…

The device switches automatically depending on the design

I use it to switch between my computer monitor and my Roku Streaming Stick. For those wondering, it will automatically switch to your typing without pressing any button on the device if the device you're switching to is off and you turn it on. If your device stays on all the time, you need to switch to the device using the button on the switch. I've tested this with a Blu-ray player for example and it works great because if you're like me I turn off my Blu-ray player when not in use. In short…

You get what you pay for, this is not good design.

Appears to be well made, but nothing more. It's clear that no time was spent pondering the usability of this thing. The button to toggle between inputs is tiny <2mm in diameter, the kind of buttons you would hide to reboot the system and only for a hacker to touch. It was not intended to be promoted with any arbitrary frequency. My other switch has a mechanical button (no auto-sensing) but at least the button is about 10mm and feels good. They could have spent an additional $0.05 for a…

Works very well. for selector switch

I bought this to connect my computer and Fire Stick to a projector. It works really well for that and still leaves me with another HDMI port for something later like a DVD player or maybe cable TV. I also like that it automatically connects to the projector based on which device "wakes it up". In other words, when I click to wake up my computer, this gadget detects the activity and automatically connects my computer to the projector. If I use a Fire Stick instead, this gadget will automatically
