Appears to be well made, but nothing more. It's clear that no time was spent pondering the usability of this thing. The button to toggle between inputs is tiny <2mm in diameter, the kind of buttons you would hide to reboot the system and only for a hacker to touch. It was not intended to be promoted with any arbitrary frequency. My other switch has a mechanical button (no auto-sensing) but at least the button is about 10mm and feels good. They could have spent an additional $0.05 for a plastic cover for this button, but decided against it. The LEDs that indicate the selected input are designed to be visible from a mile away. Not the best choice for something that will be next to AV equipment, it should be hidden as it's the brightest thing in my setup (not even the cable modem gets close). Silence and discretion are called for here, the extra money spent on those super bright LEDs could have been better spent on a button. Cheap plastic completes the picture, I should have read the reviews more carefully. I'm sending this back.
