I was pleasantly surprised at how good this little bluetooth repeater is. Much better than I expected, especially for the price. This bluetooth repeater comes in kit form as shown in the photo. There is no soldering or anything, but the top and bottom covers need to be installed and it only took a few minutes. The first thing that struck me is that it's smaller than I expected from the photos on Revain. Sizes are given in the product description, but I didn't pay attention to them. Aside from the protruding volume knob, it's slightly smaller than a standard playing card, as shown in the photo. I like the wide voltage range. My first test was with 12VDC and the amp sounded great! There was no noise and the sound filled the room with two 8 ohm 100 watt bookshelf speakers. I then tried a 5V USB power adapter and expected a sharp drop in volume, but it still had more volume than I would ever need in a living room. In addition, the power consumption is tiny. It used so little power that the USB power adapter died after 20 seconds thinking it had nothing plugged in. This little amp also had a great range with my iPhone XR. I could walk two rooms without passing out. I haven't tried the aux input but I assume it's fine. Pros: 1. Great sound with no noise in my test setup 2. Wide voltage range and very low power consumption.3. Fast Bluetooth connection.4. Long range with my phone.5. well done. Cons: Can't think of any and will definitely buy again. Conclusion: A very nice little amp with a great sound and lots of power. The speakers used obviously make a big difference in sound quality, but for the price you can't beat them.
