This product is very well made and would be a very good choice if the main objective is sturdiness and safety (it is RFID safe). It’s a bit heavy for my preference, so it’s being passed on to a 20 something yr old with a strong back :)

The empty bag weight 1.8kg. So when you pack your stuff, with a pair of keen sandals, computer n accessories, it will weight 10kg easily for a 6 days travel, so you need to plan to carry light weigh clothes. Due to the exo mesh, you feel that you are backpacking a vault. However, you feel safe, this backpack really secure your stuff n provide some protection and security.

This bag is very sturdy. It also has much more accessibility than the Pacsafe Vibe 40 Liter Anti Theft. That bag only opens as one large zipper but this is awesome because there is a smaller front pocket for items you need to access quickly then the bigger oyster open style large compartment can be left be with your clothing and items you want to leave packed up tight. I used this for a trip to Europe and it was awesome. It fits as a carry on for even the smallEuropean airlines.

I went to Asia for a month and packed the living crap out of this pack. I place for everything in it. Clothing, electronics and a monster Mac laptop. I may have overpacked though.it was a little on the heavy side. Non the less, the strapswere relatively comfortable for the load ( my guess is 55 pounds-ish ) and still made it as a carry on to multiple aircraft.

Used this bag for safari, at it was perfect! Soft sided and the right size for bush planes, fit enough for travel and comfortable to carry through airports and as a carryon. Also survived a monkey invasion.12 flights, a couple dozen transfers and a number of attempted monkey thieves later the bag looks like the day I bought it. My only minor gripe is that I wish the smaller pocket opened up a bit more, but that’s it. I would buy it again, but it’ll be a long time before I need to!

I have not had this backpack for long but so far I am really enjoying it. It feels solid, well made, and attention was obviously put into detail. If I were to lose this I would buy another one. I took this bag to Paris last year, and it was fantastic. Easy, secure, and comfortable. I wore it through the airport, onto the plane, and all over the metro without any issues.You can fit plenty in here, and traveling with just this as your carry-on is so freeing. Never going back to gigantic suitcases!
