I have owned Ninja for at least 3 years and have had no problems. When my blender piece ripped down the side, I decided to buy a new lid. I knew I needed a quality blender lid that could withstand the abuse of a blender. I've read reviews of some expensive baseball caps and haven't been disappointed, but $25 is outrageous to me. I stumbled across this seller, read the specs (hardly, I won't lie) and thought for $10 less I could at least give it a try. I was really impressed with the thickness of the plastic (it's thick!) so I never saw any side chips again. I've used it about 10 times in the last week and I'm not thinking of returning it! Although the extra ones won't hurt 😂
