I actually bought two of these. They produce a decent blue spark, but it's a little less impressive than the spark from black flag spark gaps. The lack of a safety shield makes them a lot easier to clean (and probably just as safe) than most chains. Let's face it, you're drooling over the American flag. I am not blaming you. This is by far the most aesthetically pleasing zapper I have ever seen. My biggest complaint is that the paint is a bit sloppy on both racquets I bought and one of them had a very small crack in the plastic. A little quality control would be nice when paying that much for insect repellent. Although I still like it very much. It is undeniably a cute zapper and it works very well. Make our ancestors proud by ordering one of these sick zappers. Go Team USA!
