I bought this for the outdoor porch lights and propane work light on my van. Incandescent lamps are 5 watts and incandescent lamps are 15 watts. This way you save battery power. They don't get hot like old lightbulbs and protect your light fixture from heat damage. They are a bit lighter and have more of a warm white than a blue cast. I recommend this for energy savings, they have a silicone like coating to protect them from water damage. I also sprayed the outlet and wires with WD40 rust preventative.
