Review on High-Speed Data Transfer with SanDisk 128GB Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive - SDCZ73-128G-G46 by Melissa Lewis

A good flash drive from a trusted company

Just needed more space, I installed this. Also, the price was amazing. It's strange to think that I have a flash drive with the same storage capacity that some modern ultrabooks offer as a base. Pros: - This thing is small. I was expecting something like 2.25" x 11/16", you know, the classic little flash drive, but it's more like 1.75" x 7/16", small enough for a keychain, but not too small to innovate. - No blinking LEDs, sorry I hate blinking LEDs on flash drives. They're always annoyingly bright and I often transfer large files at night so I don't need them to light up my entire bedroom/living room during the transfer. FAT32 formatted box. What an odd choice for SanDisk. I formatted it to NTFS. The 128GB thumbnail drive was also formatted to FAT32 by the same company and purchased at the same time. The quick reason why this is annoying is that FAT32 has a maximum file size of 4GB. The stuff I put on this drive was over 4GB, not all, but if you transfer 200+GB at a time that's about 40,000 files. It becomes tiresome to guess where files larger than 4GB are hiding. As I said I've moved over 200GB of discs and emulators to this flash drive, it lasted about 3-4 hours continuously, I don't notice it getting very hot during that long time as others have warned. It got "warm" but not WARM as one might feel. Maybe 70 degrees Fahrenheit, I like it, will most likely buy another one. I bought this for my roms and emulators. The next 256GB will be used for all my books, PDFs and documents as this is also around 200GB of files which I plan to remove from disk storage systems due to their fragility. The price is great for so much storage space in such a compact space.
