After purchasing a memory foam mattress, I wanted to find a mattress topper that would allow for more airflow and heat distribution. I've found memory foam to be quite soft and comfortable, but damn warm to sleep in, especially if you're cold like me. After reading the specs of this and many other products that regulate and distribute heat, I pulled out my gun and purchased this product. I was happy at first, came very quickly, smelled ok, no uncomfortable order, added a bit of height that was needed and felt very soft and comfortable. Then in December I found out that nothing like this happens to disperse heat and let air through! It's actually hotter than memory foam alone. I have since removed that topper and used the product to fill kitchen chair cushions that needed replacing. I don't normally give bad product reviews, but this was so bad I just had to let others who might read the following know. Gel-impregnated ventilated memory foam traps and distributes heat, lets air through and helps regulate sleep temperature. It's not if you don't sleep warm, then this thing will roast you very well, why are you sleeping? but if you sleep well, you're in for a hard night of sweating and tossing and turning. If you need to stuff your bars, however, you can purchase cheaper chair cushion stuffing products. Zero stars out of 5 just doesn't live up to what it promises. Maybe if you sleep in a hammock but on a regular bed and memory foam this dose of topper will not work as advertised. I would look at other products unless you like sleeping in your own pools of sweat, even at max Ac!
