Uhmmmm, ya. I got caught up in the pretty looking, set of 3 brushes, that I didn't look at the star ratings for this product. Shame on me. The brushes LOOK pretty, and are, but they don't function properly. Full disclosure, I'm not a trained nail tech, but I have been doing my own acrylics for 4 years now. I use Young Nails monomer, and powder from YN, Mia Secret, and various other brands. I found these brushes hold the powder in the tips, and no matter the amount of wiping off onto the paper towel I do, there is always residual in the brush tips. I've even dipped the brush in clean monomer, as well as acetone to help remove, but how frustrating is that to clean in between each nail? Not for me. If you are new to doing your nails, save yourself the frustration and purchase some other, better quality (higher star rating) brush. You only one good one, and these are not them.
