Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Enhance Your Gaming Experience with Dual Glow Sabers for Nintendo Wii by Erica Nelson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Unnecessary, but fun nonetheless.

As far as Wii accessories go, they (like almost everything else) belong in the unnecessary category. What you get is a handle that the Wiimote slides into and a glowing top that rotates. The colors of the saber are actually pretty cool. The red and blue LEDs shine quite well, especially in a dark room. This is all on the positive side. On the other hand, the plastic ends up being pretty flimsy, and if you pretend to sword fight like me and my idiot friends do, they break pretty quickly. If you have children. they will eventually break. Let's just say they weren't designed for that. so I think one assumes that abuse can lead to bad consequences. What really made me stop using it is that the power doesn't come from the Wiimote or the base at all. The batteries are located in the upper part with a saber-shaped tip. All of this probably quadruples the weight of the Wiimote alone, making it a bit awkward to move around quickly during games like the one I use it in (Star Wars: The Force Unleashed). The saber is a good length, but it also means you need plenty of room to avoid hitting anything while playing. All in all a pretty fun novelty, especially for kids. However, after a few weeks, if it is not already broken. You will probably exceed the novelty value.
