Review on πŸ”Œ CERRXIAN Insulated Electrical Connectors: Enhancing Safety and Efficiency by Michael Hellewell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Attractive but limited

Spade terminals make a better connection than banana plugs and gold plating would make them even better, but the barrel you put the stripped wire into is too small for a 10-10 Gauge, especially with the side screws that have to be screwed all the way into the collar, the cylinder won't move back. Simple design changes can solve this problem: make the ring larger and increase the threads used so that the side screws don't have to be fully screwed in. And of course make the cylinder containing the stripped wire bigger. At a minimum, let buyers know what gauge wire to use.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
