Review on πŸš— Enhanced Protection: XO Vision DX382 Universal Car Alarm System with Dual 4-Button Remotes by Jack Robi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lots of features for an inexpensive alarm clock

I bought it for the features, not the alarm. I wanted to install remote controlled door locks on an old car that had electric locks with no remote control (88 Pontiac Fiero). Installation was a little tricky but due more to my inexperience with car wiring than the DX382 bug I had to buy some extra relays to match the alarm to the power locks in my car but they were pretty cheap. Once I figured out where to install it and how to wire it, the alarm worked perfectly, the remote door lock functions exceeded my expectations and I even hooked up a trunk lock to work with the remote. There are some programmable features like locking the doors 15 seconds after starting the car and unlocking them when you turn it off. My only real issue is that the remotes use some weird batteries that are pretty expensive and I've had to replace them. them a couple of times, but it doesn't matter. You can't beat this alarm for the price, period! If I had to connect the remote to another car I would buy this alarm again.
