This requires an ethernet cable that splits into three separate ethernet cables, but this isn't a true switch so you can only use one IP address at a time huh breaking it into three separate chords serves the whole purpose. I'm not sure what the true purpose of this adapter is, but in testing and trying to use it I found nothing but annoyance and headaches.
