4-14 UPDATE LISTED BELOW ORIGINAL REVIEW.It will serve the purpose but I am not impressed. Please note that I normally buy the stainless steel racks and this one feels like plastic compared to those. This states it's metal but it really feels plastic and the coating seems to be substandard as well. Not only that but the sleeves you place around the posts (where you want shelf to sit) are plastic and they do NOT go together and stay there. Without making it difficult to snap them in place they should be able to make them to actually snap and stay there. These fall apart and cause a lot of frustration.Once together I used shelf liner and put in place. FYI - once in place try not to move it because it "feels" like it wants to come apart! I went with this one because I needed the specific size for a rental. For that purpose and for the cost, it's fine. If you want to use this for heavier items, go with the stainless steel shelving. I use that a lot, in our shop, garage, and home and I can't be more pleased with the structure and stability of the heavier racks.Update 4-14 -17 - the company reached out to me regarding the above review and offered a partial refund. My original review was 3 stars, I am now giving 4 stars. While I can't increase this because of the product, the company does deserve credit for the prompt and caring customer service I received.
