No two dogs are the same. This coat is very well made. What I like is that it fits her back and around her midsection. I had to roll up my sleeves because her legs were sticking out and she has a habit of lifting one leg up. But it's better if the sleeves are a little longer for bigger dogs. My dog doesn't have a lot of hair, so it's very cold here in New England. We saw -10 degrees Fahrenheit last year and she didn't even go outside. I hope she can enjoy the snow this year. I had to return the first one because of the size. Depending on your dog's breed, you can add two inches to the recommendations. This is a great coat, made from high quality materials and thought through to the smallest detail.
