Flex for me! - my new review

Now that it is cooling down, I will tell you this is not a flexible cord. In the colder temps this is a hard cord to manage. The plugs are a bit bigger than normal resulting in it not fitting into most "cupped" connections on tools like, weedwhacker's, or blowers (the ones with the plug surrounded by an outside shield.) Other than that, I think it was a great price and it functions well. The lights on the plugs that show connectivity is a nice touch.

  • Good cord, but when it gets cold, too hard to roll it up

  • The plug is not durable enough and may break easily

Good All Purpose Extension Cord

While I have only had the product a short time (two weeks), it has met all my expectations. I have been using It for yard work and it seems durable to the rough handling of being dragged around the yard.

Pros
  • Bought it to use with a stud drill that draws 11 amps under load. This should do the trick.

  • The cord is not fit for harsh weather conditions

Well made and great for pro use.

I like the heavy duty strength of this cord. I also like the idea of how there is a power indicator at both ends of this cord. Multipurpose too.

The power extension cord is one of the best on the market.you will not find a better reliable extension cord like these ones made by gear it.i been trying to find an extension cord like this forever. Doesn't avoid kinks.

Was hoping would avoid kinking/twisting like other extension cords but to no avail. Have to walk the kinks out for the 100 ft. so if you don't need 100 ft cord may want to go with lesser feet.

LED not working best in my review

14g cord works but no LED on the female end of the cord. Not sure if the light just doesn’t work, or if the light just isn’t there.

It doesn't get hot

I love this extension cord because is a heavy duty for real. I had purchased one from Home Depot and when I plugged my pool pump it got really hot and stopped working.

The length and gauge should make this a perfect replacement for my old cord.

I like the product which replaces a very similar Sears Craftsman cord that I could not find any more on the Sears website. The light indicating it’s plugged in was a must and the light blue color makes it more visible so hopefully I won’t cut into it with a trimmer like I did with the old one !

Great heavy duty cord

I needed a higher amperage cord and this is perfect for that. Very heavy so hard to move around but for a heavy duty high amperage extension cord it’s great.

Great Service good for me

Item arrived a day early, is exactly what I wanted and exactly as advertised, do not expevet any issues whatsoever. Cord is too taut for easy wrapping and storage.

Overall a good buy.

Cord has great flexibility even in moderately cold weather around 50 degrees. #10 wire has no issues with voltage drop for higher draw equipment like large jackhammer or compressor. Only negative is the lighted end is not very bright. Can't really see it during the daytime. Shouldn't be a big deal but when you buy a $150 dollar cord with a lighted end and you can't see it without cupping your hands around it during the day, it's kind of a bummer.
