I bought these for my upcoming Chicago trip in February and they are so warm, I'm sure that if I layer with another pair of leggings underneath that I will be fine. Because of the extra layer inside, order a size up. I bought large and am 5'6 150 lbs and they fit a little snug, although they do have some stretch. Would definitely buy another pair.
