they worked perfectly.

I have a backpack that I really love except for one fact. It has dense mesh webbing on the shoulder strap which makes it very slippery. I bought these rubber bands and glued them on thinking they would come loose over time. However, they stayed in place and the backpack no longer slides off my shoulder when I carry it over one shoulder.
