They are perfect! I recently got a new ear piercing on my left antihelix and after removing the earring I was going to pierce all the other earrings either hurt or because they weren't sterling silver my ear was sore and red. At one point I thought he might be infected, but thank god for the hydrogen peroxide. I installed one of these and haven't had any problems since. It's very comfortable and didn't affect my ear at all. Sometimes I even forget he's there.
