The only reason for the 4 star rating is the lack of instructions. While the video on the product page shows most of the assembly of this stand, it doesn't show it in full, nor does it show how to use a light control or connect a remote control. Much of this is intuitive, but the video shows a phone holder attached to a pole that connects to the stand. They come as two separate pieces. I figured it all out, but instructions should be included for buyers unfamiliar with this type of product. Due to the lack of instructions, I will explain some of them in this review. Buyers should not refer to the video on the product page for instructions. The video doesn't explain that the flex bar needs to be snapped onto the ball on the phone holder. It doesn't show the parameters of the connected controller for the light, nor how to connect the phone controller. On the phone controls, you need to select IOS or Android depending on your phone's operating system. You can then pair the controller with Bluetooth on your phone and select AB Shutter 3 to connect. The side button on this controller will either take a photo or start a video, but you'll need to put your phone in photo or video mode before using it. In video mode, the side button also stops recording. The included light controller, as shown in my images, includes a "-" button to decrease the intensity of your chosen temperature setting. There are 10 intensity settings for each mode. The next button is the off/on button, which turns the light on or off. Next, choose the lighting temperature. There are 3 settings to choose from - bright white, warm and cool light. The last button is the "+" button, which increases the intensity of the light until it reaches its maximum intensity. The two buttons "+" and "-" set the lighting to maximum and minimum intensity. In order for the light to work, it must be connected to a USB power source. I tried the power supply and the power supply. You can also choose a USB port for a PC or laptop. For my purposes, I prefer the power pack as it doesn't tie the use of light to a specific location. Features I love about this stand: - The ability to adjust the stand for floor or table use. I found it very stable for both purposes. - USB-powered light offers multiple power sources - Power supply is the least restrictive - Bright, warm, or cool light options to match ambient light and select from ten light intensity levels. This is invaluable for selfies or personal videos, as the wrong lighting can make a huge difference in how you look. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and my phone in the case fits in the phone holder without any problems. With a wider phone, you just need to make sure the phone fits snugly in the holder. Without the missing instructions this would definitely be a 5 star product. I would also appreciate the ability to use the camera alongside the phone.
