Review on πŸŒ… NYC Sunrise Backpack - Explore the World by Mauricio Woodard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally! A backpack that rolls well and has no holes in the bottom!

I bought my daughter several different wheeled backpacks. They tend to have the same flaws: 1. They tend to "flip" very easily, then the child drags them along for a few feet before stopping to turn them over. This leads to.2. After dragging it across the sidewalk, a hole is rubbed in the fabric at the bottom of the backpack opposite the wheels, and things fall out of it.3. The "legs" on the base opposite the wheels that allow them to stand tend to fall off, preventing you from lifting the backpack.4. After a few weeks, the retractable handle starts to stick and it practically takes a congress to raise and lower it. Wow! What a difference this backpack! 1. The wheels are bigger and more stable than others we tried. My daughter can roll this bad boy down a steep driveway to a bus stop without tipping over. 2. The bottom of the backpack is encased in hard plastic, so even if she acts like a boy and pulls him in the wrong direction, the plastic will withstand the punishment3. Rather than flimsy "legs" screwed into the frame, the legs on this part are a molded plastic base and don't go anywhere. When he's standing, it's a lot easier for my daughter to dig through the awful pit of crumpled paper and shredded cheese while he searches for his homework. The handle is so easy to raise and lower and still works. I'm waiting for another shoe to fall on this backpack because it's too good to be true.
