Slightly disappointed with this product. I was hoping it would glow well on flowering rocks but I may have chosen the wrong item.

I use a lot of black bulbs and they are good quality. The only negative I can say about them is that they are not very bright. Overall good value for money. Many Thanks

It's just time and $ to wait! Bought them at Walmart for $1.52 each! They are boring and both together hardly brighten up the small bathroom! waste to waste! And a $7 refund! Well it's a joke!

They are, as they say, black lights. We use them for Halloween and yes, white things glow under this light. Not powerful and not cheap but good quality and well packaged to survive the journey here.

I don't write reviews but I want others to know about the quality of the lamps. I ordered 6 of these and 1 didn't work at all and 2 are very boring and hardly stick. I would pay more money for a better quality lamp if I bought this type of lamp. Hope that helps.

They work well but be aware that one of them is NOT "bright" enough to make a big impact in a large room or even a long hallway. The effect is so local that even with the lights off in the rest of the apartment, my shirt only glowed when I was standing directly in front of the light. in the hallway If you can fit a couple of these bulbs in or put them in a multi-bulb lamp, they might work better. Because I don't need them and I can't return them.

I was trying to use these as Halloween decorations and was hoping they would be more Violet. They are, but they are very dark. Even if you were hoping for a black light effect, the performance is so weak that they even dim in the dark. Unless they produce a ton of light, I doubt they'll be of much use in the summer for attracting bugs. You just can't see ultraviolet light. There are better bulbs out there.

I ordered these because I ordered six packs on the same site and needed two more bulbs. The first six bulbs that arrived were big, bright and worked great. This second sentence was not equal to the first. These were much smaller bulbs and didn't have the wattage of six-pack bulbs. I would be less upset if one of those two bulbs hadn't overheated and started flickering after 3 minutes. After 5 minutes the light went out and got very hot. I cannot recommend these lamps.

They arrived in perfect condition and were perfect for our black light party for my son's Creatures of the Deep birthday party. We used two 13-watt CFLs in a 10-by-12-foot room and two more 23-watt CFLs in the hallway connected to the room. If you want to light up large objects that react to UV light, like balloons or large paintings (with lots of neon colors), then a 13-watt lamp will do. However, if you want to highlight small objects or write with neon lights, I would go for a higher power…
