After reading the reviews I was a bit nervous about buying this case but I really like it. I've looked everywhere and scoured the internet for the best iPad case of 2017. Several websites recommended this case and I liked the slim look, the fact that it covers front and back, the simple but functional kickstand and the slim profile so I decided to give it a try. When I got it, I liked it even more than I expected. I bought the purple case and love the color. Quality seems great, better than other cases I've spent a lot more on and returned to, and details like the two-tone scheme look great in person. It's not very noticeable from the product description and photos, but there are small grooves on the case that help it stand up and you can adjust it to different angles. As for the latch, which was the reason most people disliked the case, I agree it could have been a better design, but it's not a critical feature (without the latch, the lid would lie perfectly flat). ), so I'm not worried. I haven't owned it long enough to talk about if the latch will break, but I'm not worried anyway and I don't think it will ruin my opinion of how much I like it. Overall I really like this case and am so happy I sent back the few I bought before and settled on this one instead.
