My suitcase ripped in two places after 6 months of normal wear and tear and rarely leaving the house. I have contacted the company believing that I am still under warranty and am awaiting their response. I was very disappointed that I purchased Speck cases specifically for my electronic devices due to their durability and protection. It's not worth sending this case back to Speck.

I really like the product and overall it's good but the customer service sucks. I had two such cases about a year ago and both had cracks in the plastic parts and on the second attempt to have it replaced under warranty it was ignored. I did everything said in the warranty section and waited over a month with no response and even wrote a follow up email but still no response. This case looks good and claims to be strong. Unfortunately my first red colored Speck Folio tore at the corners of the case after a few days. It was purchased through Speck Australia. This is the second soiled case I have received for my I-Pad. The design is great and the case fits well. However, after a few weeks, the first one I bought broke on the corner next to the power button. Sent it back and got a new one with no problems. As soon as I got my new one, I put my I-Pad in a case and never took it out. A few weeks later the same corner broke again, and then two more corners broke off. Thanks Spec. I had Fit Folios for other iPads and used them until they wore out. I just put this case on my iPad Air 2, left my iPad in the car and drove away. He flew away and the case was pretty much beaten. Three corners were scratched and partially torn off and the case was torn on both sides - but my iPad was fine except for a scuff on one of the corners! I also had a tempered glass screen protector and I think that helped the screen when it landed face down in the street.

I have had other Speck iPad cases. The rest of the cases took a long time. When I first ordered this suitcase, the corner broke and then completely ripped off. I exchanged it for another one and now less than a month later the case has a crack and I think it will break soon. Nothing happened either time to explain it. Very disappointed, justified by the appearance and color of the case. Now I have found that I need to buy another case.
