I was a consumer who needed to replace a 17 inch CRT screen due to lack of space. I didn't have the money to invest in some of the more expensive monitors that caught my eye. I've searched the internet extensively for something that suits my needs and budget. Well, I found an Acer and a couple of ViewSonics, and while they might not be the worst monitors out there, overall I wasn't too impressed. Anyway I have a monitor at home now and have to say I am impressed with the quality of this monitor for the price. The picture quality on this monitor is easily comparable to monitors between $50 and $175 at the list price of this item. Also, installing it on my Mac Mini was mindless. I just plugged it in and got 1440 x 900 resolution straight away, no issues or issues. So if you're on a budget and looking for a great monitor, I would definitely go for the Hanns-G HW-191D. Personally, I had no dead pixels, picture quality is top notch, etc. With a response time of 5ms, this monitor is great for working, watching movies, photos or playing games.
