Bought two of these seats. Once for a friend and once for me. We both have good quality beach cruisers. I weigh 180 pounds, she weighs 140 pounds. The first thing that caught your eye was the depreciation. One seat was VERY hard but the other had a lot more padding. It wasn't just a small difference, it was extremely obvious to both of us. So I put a softer saddle on her bike. Next was the journey itself. Neither of us found the comfort that great. But the real surprise were the coil springs. As I rode behind her, I noticed that the feathers became so stiff they didn't move AT ALL. We were driving on a bumpy paved road and the spring traffic should have been noticeable. It wasn't like that, and I noticed that any bumps along the way hit her spine. Then I rode one hand and placed the other on the upper seat springs. Same, no movement. Perhaps this seat is designed for people over 200 pounds.
