Review on Westinghouse Lighting Industrial 56-Inch Indoor Ceiling Fan with Brushed Nickel Steel Blades - Westinghouse 7861400 by Ashley Lynn

I bought this for a one car garage to use as a home office. I was drawn to the all-metal construction, thinking it would hold up better here and blend in with the rest of the raw feel of the room. The fan was easy to install and I found the 12" downpipe to be perfect for my setup, mounting it directly to the ceiling joist at the highest point in the garage. I turned the deal's blades high enough for me to jump under. I replaced the included controller with the remote found on the Revain (PECHAM F2) here. As others have mentioned, it's a bit scary at high speeds. With my controller from the Low, Medium, and High options, I never set it to High. I just tested it to make sure it installed well. The sound is quite good even on the highest settings compared to other ceiling fans. I wouldn't have a problem with a call directly below so I can't agree with others complaining about the noise level. I did notice a slight wobble of about 1/2 inch, which isn't a huge problem, but I can try rearranging the blades to compensate. That's what the manual suggests and I haven't seen the weights that are included.
