Review on 🪒 100 Rapira Swedish Super Steel Razor Blade Pack by Sarah Gonzalez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These are my favorites out of a dozen or so blades I've tried

A few months ago I started shaving with a single Double Edge (DE) blade to try and get rid of the red pimples and reduce other shaving irritations I get when I shave my head. I'm happy to say that it was a great success in that regard! I've tried many sample blades and these particular Swedish Super Steel blades really stood out to me as the best, so I ordered a full set and a few more shaves later I'm very happy so far. It's like Goldilocks to me, not too spicy and not too dumb. They don't last on my Caucasian sensitive skin with my Edwin Jagger DE89. I have a big head with hair that grows in different directions. I shave in the direction of the grain, across the grain and then against the grain to get a really close shave and they let me enjoy it without shaving irritation or bumps as long as I let the razor do its job and don't add hair. excessive pressure. Combined with my Edwin Jagger DE89 (short knurled handle if that matters) these blades give me the right mix of just enough sharpness to get the job done but also very forgiving. I can get 4 good shaves with a blade before swapping out a blade which is more than enough for me so I didn't go beyond that as the DE shave is already extremely economical and a pack of 100 blades is cheap enough even if i replace after four shaves, i still get 400 good ones. an irritation-free shave for less than $10, which is amazing. I take the blade off and rinse it after each use and let it air dry (same goes for my DE89) - I don't keep track of whether the blade is twisted one way or the other. I'm sure some people could squeeze a few more razors out of each blade if they wanted to. If honestly I could only get two good shaves for one blade at this price I would be happy as they far exceeded my expectations.
