Great idea - very poor execution

The seller mistakenly sent a version with a magnet, so I attached my own velcro, but the device CANNOT be aligned even with a template (same problem will be with velcro or magnet). Also, the laser reticle moves 90 degrees no matter how the unit is mounted and adjusted - you can't loosen it a bit like the manufacturer suggests, as it will just wobble out of alignment. The point is also too large for stitch alignment (&gt;1mm at close range) - I can determine a much more accurate needle position by eye only. I wanted to like it but sent it back after playing around with it for a few days - it just didn't work properly. save your money
