Huh. this is my second review. The first one was on the seller is glowing. This one is on the battery itself. The initial voltage (utilizing a digital multimeter with a battery load feature) right out of the blister pack showed 2.85 volts. This seems low to me as the one I am replacing showed 2.56 volts after almost 10 years installation on a motherboard. It is my understanding that a new battery of this type should show between 3.3 and 3.5 volts -- but maybe that is a no load reading. The new battery is less than a year off it's date of manufacture. I was doing some work on the board so just decided to change the battery while I was at it. Kind of a pain to get to once all the components are in so I hope this lasts. We'll just have to wait awhile to see. Hence the star rating.
