Overall overview:The blanket is 6 feet by 4.5 feet and feels like a sleeping bag. I am 6 foot 3 inches and fit in/under this perfectly.On the blanket I received, some of the cotton filling was sticking out by the oceans tag, but the seam is stitched closed. It is not an opening in the seam at least.There is an elastic band that will hold the bag rolled up outside the bag.There is a temporary tag on the outside of the bag that says "Win a free trip to Yosemite!”For water resistance, it seems to be like a modern sleeping bag, so it should withstand some moisture just fine.The good:It feels nice and soft and there is plenty of room for 1 person, or for 2 if they are close together. During summer, it could be used as a sleeping bag if it is folded over, or a supplement to a thin sleeping bag. It could be used under a sleeping bag as an isolation barrier for cold weather camping. The strap to keep the blanket rolled up is a nice feature.It packs down rather small, like a fleece sleeping bag linerThe bad:The bag description says "Oceans Puffy Down Blanket” but it is filled with cotton batting and not with down features. This can be misleading.On the bag I received, there was some of the cotton filling sticking out of the side seam near the "Oceans” tag, but at least there is no void in the seam.Final word:I like it, it is big enough for me, and I cannot wait to take it camping. I just wish it was a down blanket. But it is more affordable than most down blankets, which is a definite plus for the budget minded camper.
