Excellent taper/collar. The vet gave me one after my dog's surgery. Your typical cone that you slide and shoot. Very difficult. But it wasn't the most convenient option, especially since it has to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I was looking for something more comfortable and here it is! I measure my dog's neck (21 inches) and the XXL fits perfectly. What I like best about it is that there is some rebound so when he lays down the cone shape changes and his head can lie flat. He can also drink from his cup by putting it on. Fortunately, he doesn't always try to remove the cone. To be honest I don't recommend your dog constantly trying to take it off or chewing on it etc. It probably won't hold up but it works fine for my low energy older dog.
