I bought one of these about 5 years ago, not to take notes or meetings (I can do it with my phone) but to velcro it on a drone so I could have audio for video may have. Drone audio in flight is superior to silent video (my drone doesn't record sound). A simple post-production process for my videos! I have to say that the battery life of this device is exceptional. Not only was I able to record hours of sound before needing a recharge, but the battery (or batteries) in this little device lasted almost five years of frequent charging and discharging before finally giving up. There's no way to replace it, so you'll have to buy a new one, but who cares after so many years of service at this price point? One person mentioned that the cap is difficult to remove. the fit is much looser, it would be too light. something I don't want to do on the fly (for obvious reasons). The on/off switch is a big plus! I need a way to mute the audio after each flight so I can distinguish which flight is which and reduce post-processing. Automatic voice/sound activation would be a disadvantage for me. This voice recorder is lightweight, small and durable. There's even a keychain holder. I can only recommend it, great quality at a very good price!
