Why would someone have such power if they couldn't use it? The issue exists on every iPhone I've owned, including the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 8, and iPhone XS MAX. After 10-15 minutes of playing demanding games, the phone becomes quite hot and the display brightness decreases. That example, the brightness is at 100% and actually 50%, then after cooling off for five minutes, the brightness increases once more.
