I was looking for a cheap laptop to use for work (mostly Word, Excel, and Adobe) and internet browsing. The three essential requirements were a ssd disk, an ips matrix, and 8GB of RAM. What surprised me the most was that HP had the best price. It's odd that identical Lenovo, Dell, and Acer laptops with the same configuration cost, on average, $5 more. Give HP a lighted keyboard and at least 3 USB ports (there is more than enough room on the side), and I'll give it five stars. As a result, port 1 is continually taken up by a mouse adapter, port 2 is constantly occupied by a printer (because you print a lot of documents), and port 3 is constantly taken up by a USB flash drive.
