That's a great punch to the heart! I am very happy with the quality of the hearts. The edges are clean, crisp and crisp. I used up to three sheets of 65lb cardstock (many hearts had to be cut out!). It required a bit more pressure but still delivered perfect shots. With a sheet of 8.5 x 11, I was able to score nine hits. With a 12x12 bow I scored 15-16. I missed when the shot was on the surface. I removed the translucent cover from the bottom so I could see exactly where I was pressing and just pulled the lever. I wanted to get as much out of each sheet as possible. I ended up cutting the gold glitter paper into 2.5 inch wide strips before punching. So there was very little waste and I got 16 hearts. The product description says 3 inches. Actual size is closer to 2.9 inches wide x 2.4 inches long. So far I've met about 1000 hearts. It still works with no problems.
