The mouse and I have been roommates for a month now. The "dead" one that came with my S520 kit inspired me to get this replacement (in the old one, the repairmen could not change the micro buttons). That's why I was trying to find that old receiver. Yet, it had little effect. Also, the service software wasn't great at locating the mouse. I gave up on this plan as a result. Incompatible with the new technology, the old couldn't be made to play nice (Logitech Unifying). I expected the worst after reading the reviews, yet the experience exceeded my expectations. That which irritates most people is one of my favorite things. The clicks on the scroll wheel are very subtle. There is no such thing as "nervousness" for me, and everything flows well. Both the mouse and the scroll wheel have a comfortable degree of give. The noisy clacking of buttons is annoying. What I suggest.
