I dont know what to think.

I'm not sure what's going on, though. My 5 gallon betta tank is very cloudy now and for the FIRST TIME. My nitrates and nitrites are high! Bought to replace my good old conditioner, Betta thought I was doing a good thing. So I did a 25% water change and then added the appropriate amount of this conditioner (thought I might need a water change and it wasn't product). Oh the water hardness was high too - had to add more than recommended which scares me. These are not my test strips. I have another bowl for a quarantined ADfrog and the streaks return to his bowl with no problem. Also, the water is really cloudy. what they said it could be, but still.
