NOT suitable for applying highlighters

Fan brush NOT suitable for applying highlighters. He is too big. Waaaaaaaaaaaah too big. It's great for shaking off excess finishing powder (or fallen eyeshadow dust or whatever), but as a highlighter it's only good if you apply it all over your cheek. A bronzer brush looks great when you're using bronzer as a contour rather than sun-bleached "natural tan spots." And I have to say, for the price, the QUALITY is excellent. You are so soft! And they seem well made like they will last a long time. I was just very surprised and disappointed at how gigantic the fan brush was.
